A Small Body Hidden Beneath a Heavy Burden

When the small dog first arrived, it was difficult to believe he had managed to endure for so long.

From afar, he barely resembled a dog at all. Instead, he looked like a tangled mass of fabric and debris. His body was completely covered by thick layers of hardened, matted fur that had trapped dirt, dust, and grime over time. The coat had grown into large, heavy clumps that hung from his tiny frame like an exhausting suit of armor.

Even taking a few steps seemed like a struggle.
