A Dangerous Fall in a Quiet Village

A stray dog has fallen deep into an old village well — nearly 70 feet (about 21 meters) below the surface. The well is narrow, dark, and partially filled with water, leaving the frightened animal with no clear way out.

Preparing for a Difficult Rescue
