A Simple Piece of Trash Becomes a Deadly Trap

The video opens with a scene that instantly raises concern.

A black-and-white stray dog is wandering through the streets with his head completely trapped inside a large plastic container — something commonly called a “Dabba” in India.

The stiff plastic jar covers his entire face.

With the container blocking his vision, the dog can barely see where he’s going. Finding food or water becomes nearly impossible, and even breathing could be difficult.

Panicked and confused, he roams aimlessly through the area, desperately trying to escape the strange object that has suddenly turned into a prison around his head.

A Difficult Search for a Frightened Animal

Rescuers soon arrive and begin searching for the trapped dog.

But catching him proves far from easy.

Every time someone gets close, the frightened animal bolts away. At different moments, the team spots him hiding deep inside bushes, crouching beneath parked cars, and running along roads scattered with trash.

Each time they approach, he vanishes again.

The jar is wedged tightly around his neck.

Finally, after several careful turns and steady pulling, the container begins to move.

The moment the jar is removed, the rescuers release him.

Then he bursts into motion.

The black-and-white dog begins running and jumping across the open ground, clearly relieved that the strange plastic prison is finally gone.

Within moments, he disappears into the distance — free once again.

Before leaving the area, the rescuers take one final precaution.

They crush the plastic container under their feet, breaking it into pieces so it can never trap another animal.
